There are people who tend to make comparisons. The female version was sung by Parveen Sultana, a renowned Hindustani classical singer. The male version was sung by Kishore Kumar. Good things should come in pairs and this song certainly came in a pair. And this song deservingly became the most popular song of this movie as well. Music of “Kudrat” on the other hand was mostly indigenous and extremely beautiful to listen to.Īnd the most beautiful of all songs was “Hamen tumse pyaar kitna ye ham nahin jaante”. “Karz” rode on the back of its music that was clearly inspired from Western music. ![]() ![]() This fad was shortlived, but the same cannot be said about their music. Early years of 1980 saw a passing fad of reincarnation stories in Bollywood, what with movies like “Karz”, “Kudrat” etc released at more or less the same time.
